Pastoral Care

As a Christian community we live out our faith by the ways in which we care for each other. Now and again you or someone you know may find it helpful to speak to one of the clergy or pastoral care team and they are only too glad to help.
If you or someone you know
requires a visit please contact our Pastoral Care Coordinator.

Bereavement

The time between a person’s death and their funeral is often very busy and full of practical arrangements.

Often it is only after the funeral that the full extent of loss affects the bereaved.

Grieving is a natural and important part of coming to terms with and healing this loss and it may continue for several months.

There are patterns and themes to bereavement but each person is different and it is important for people to be supported in finding their own way through grief.

Here at St Mary’s Greasley we have a team who are experienced in offering support and friendship to people who are recently bereaved.

If you would like more information or to arrange a visit, please contact our Pastoral Care Coordinator.
